Knowledge and experience are very important in the precious metal sector, but in the first place there is reliability. For this reason they are very careful about respecting ethical principles. The refinery was the first company in Europe in able to obtain the certification according to the CFSI guidelines as conflict-free gold operator. Also LBMA included the company in the Good Delivery List for gold - a guarantee for sustainable, long-lasting and righteous investments.

Since 1951 Heimerle + Meule is part of Possehl Group

On 04.02.2019 the Possehl business group, founded in 1847, became part of Possehl Foundation. The foundation supports cultural, humanitarian and social projects in the German city of Lübeck, the founder's birthplace. In the twentieth century the group acquired a worldwide development. The group consists of 150 companies that operate in 8 strategic sectors, 12.000 employees work there, with an annual turnover of around Eur 3.8 billion.
